England reach Euro 2020 final after extra-time win over Denmark
Kane's extra-time strike sends Three Lions to Wembley showpiece
England have reached their first men's major tournament final since 1966 after beating Denmark 2-1 in extra-time at Euro 2020. Harry Kane scored the winning goal in the 104th minute, just minutes after Denmark had equalised through Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Three Lions had taken the lead early in the second half through Simon Kjaer's own goal, but Damsgaard's stunning free-kick levelled the scores in the 39th minute.
England dominated possession and chances throughout the game, but they were unable to find a way past Denmark's resolute defence in normal time.
However, Kane's goal in extra-time proved to be the decisive moment, and England will now face Italy in the final at Wembley on Sunday.
